Nagaraj Goud, June 4:
Although he has filmed only for six days for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan-starrer Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, directed by Prabhudheva, noted Telugu actor Narra Srinu admits to have had a whale of time shooting for it. “I play a role called Pakya who travels with one of the gangsters in the film. My path crosses with that of Salman sir who is on a mission. Most of my scenes in the film are with him. I even shot with Jackie Shroff sir for a small bit. The experience so far has been wonderful to say the least,” Srinu gushes speaking to The Pioneer.
Recalling his first day experience with Salman, he shares, “It was for the first time I was seeing Salman sir on the sets. I was given a big scene and as I was new to the slang of Mumbai, he helped me with it while doing rehearsals. I could perform my sequence in the first take itself. Later, impressed with my skills, Salman sir designed a small bit of a portion of mine and directed appropriate mannerisms to Prabhudheva sir.”
For Srinu, who is making his Hindi debut with Radhe, Salman is “an extremely cool and chilled out actor”. “Recently, we’ve shot for an action sequence where he chases me on a bicycle. It was filmed from morning to evening, with Prabhu sir taking a good number of shots. After the shoot, Salman sir came to me and said ‘Aur ek karenge kya?’ (Shall we give another take?) To that I was like, ‘Nakko sir’. I will be required for another three days of shooting and I was told that Prabhu sir is including me in a song as well,” the actor points out.
In Telugu, he will be next seen in Red, starring Ram. Wrapped up long back, the film was supposed to release in April but Covid-19 outbreak derailed the producer’s plans. “I play a constable who is slightly deaf but he behaves as if he hears everything. The laughter evokes out of it,” he notes, adding that his new assignments include Pawan Kalyan’s next two films—Vakeel Saab and an untitled film with Krish. “I’ve landed an important role in Krish garu’s film. I need to sport a distinct look for it.”
