The ‘Arogya Mahila’ programme aligns seamlessly with Health Minister Harish Rao’s vision for women’s health and serves as a significant milestone in ensuring women receive high-quality healthcare services. The introduction of the ‘Arogya Mahila’ initiative and ‘Arogya Mahila Clinics’ reaffirms the government’s commitment to women’s well-being, empowering them to take charge of their health and lead healthy lives.

On March 8, 2023, the International Women’s Day, the ‘Arogya Mahila’ programme was launched aimed at prioritizing the health of women. With 272 ‘Arogya Mahila Clinics’ now operational across all districts, the programme endeavours to reach out to women all over Telangana.

In line with the directives of Chief Minister KCR, the ‘Arogya Mahila’ programme continues its core mission, that is, the early detection of diseases through symptom-based screening, followed by timely treatment.

Every Tuesday, ‘Arogya Mahila Clinics’ open their doors to women, offering a supportive environment with an all-female team of doctors and staff. These clinics provide medical tests that cater to the medical needs of women.
