Emphasising that a 100% accurate survey on socio-economic conditions will start on November 6, Principal Secretary to the Municipal and Urban Development Department, Dana Kishore, on Friday, participated as the chief guest in the training programme at the Gaurishankar Community Hall in Banjara Hills for supervisors and enumerators involved in the Khairatabad Zone survey.
Addressing the gathering, Dana Kishore said this comprehensive survey will carefully record the social and economic conditions of various groups without errors.
He mentioned that 21,000 enumerators, along with resource persons (RPs), will take part in the survey, with one supervisor assigned for every 10 enumerators to ensure accuracy.
The survey aims to help government schemes reach the poorest and most marginalised individuals.
To ensure clarity in data collection, he advised municipal officials to have enumerators practice with photocopies of survey forms before starting fieldwork, improving understanding and accuracy.
Additional Commissioners K Shivkumar, Sneha Shabarish, Chandrakanth Reddy, Zonal Commissioner Anurag Jayanti and Deputy Commissioner Rajanikant also attended the training session.
