Congress Member of Parliament Komatireddy Venkatreddy has said that there are only 100 days left for the ‘war’ and that ‘people should win it’.

Earlier, Telangana Congress leaders met at his residence on Wednesday. Manik Rao Thakare, Revanth Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Jupalli Krishna Rao and others attended the meeting.

Speaking to media persons later, the MP mentioned that there would be a meeting with AICC leader Priyanka Gandhi on 30July and then theWomen’s Declaration would be made. The MP claimed that ‘Police rule’ was running in the state. He accused the state government of grabbing the lands of the poor by bringing Dharani. People had noticed KCR’s frauds and no one in the state hadprospered, except KCR’s family.

Congress leader and Bhuvanagiri Lok Sabha member Komatireddy Venkata Reddy said that if the Congress party’s activities were fully disclosed now, then Chief Minister KChandrasekhar Rao will vacate the Pragati Bhavan after four months.Important decisions were taken at the meeting. It had been decided to organize Bus yatras in phases and public meetings district-wise.

On this occasion, Komatireddy said that there was a need for all the leaders of the Congress party to move forward unitedly. “Any decision should be discussed in the PAC. The Bus yatra will be done in phases”, he said. He said that it had been decided to organise huge public gatherings in the districts. Even if there were minor differences among leaders, they will keep them aside and move forward.

He said that the Political Affairs Committee meeting would be held on July 23rd.

Komatireddy said that all Congress leaders needed to move forward with a strategic road map. A decision would be taken on the bus trip in the next PAC meeting. If there were differences of opinion, they would be forgotten. He said that KCR had brought Dalit bandhu scheme only for votes. He said that even though he had released the logbook, 24 hours electricity was not being provided in many areas.

The Congress leaders flagged that BRS was grabbing the lands of the poor and troubling “our workers”. The Congress was working to free “the four crore people of Telangana from dictatorial rule”, he said.

Stating that Congress was already overloaded, Komati Reddy says that there was no need for new leaders to join the Congress party. According to sources, former Nakirekal MLA and BRS leader Vemula Veeresham is trying to join the Congress party, though Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy is opposing it.
