In Medak, the 108 ambulance staff demonstrated the crucial importance of timely medical intervention during emergencies. A newborn at the Medak government hospital developed breathing difficulties shortly after birth. Acting on the doctors’ advice, the baby was promptly transferred to Hyderabad in an ambulance. During the journey, the baby’s heart stopped.
In a quick response, pilot Naveen and Emergency Medical Technician Raju immediately administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), successfully reviving the infant. They continued to transport the baby to the hospital, where the child is now recovering under medical care.
The baby’s family, along with many others, expressed their gratitude for the swift and life-saving actions taken by the 108 ambulance team.
