12 students injured as college bus collides with tipper lorry

As many as 12 students of a private educational institution were injured when the college bus collided with a tipper lorry at Bodasingipet village in Gajapathinagaram mandal on Wednesday.Police said that Centurion University bus was dropping the students after college. When the bus reached Bodasingi Pet village on NH26, it collided with a tipper lorry which came in the opposite direction.   Police said that 12 students were injured in the accident. One girl student was injured critically. The bus driver was also injured in the incident. The injured students were admitted to the GGH in Gajapathinagaram. The vehicular traffic on the highway was disrupted due to the accident and a large number of vehicles stranded either side of the road.
