155 pilgrims to leave for Haj from Vijayawada on June 7

Deputy Chief Minister SB Amzath Basha has said that the direct journey of Haj pilgrims from the AP State for the first time will start from the Vijayawada International Airport on June 7. He inspected the airport thoroughly on Wednesday along with Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee Chairman Badwel Shek Gausal Azam. Vijayawada International Airport Director Laxmikant Reddy, Airport Security Officer Venkataratnam and the staff inspected the airport with the DCM.

Amzath Basha said that 155 pilgrims would leave for Haj by the first flight on June 7 and until June 22, pilgrims would leave for Haj in different flights regularly. He further said that all kinds of arrangements had been made at the Vijayawada airport. The government machinery would be fully prepared under the special supervision of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the backdrop of the arrivals and departures of pilgrims at Vijayawada. Haj Committee member and MLC Ishaq Basha, CEO L Abdul Qadeer and other officials were present.
