As many as 180 students were placed in part-time jobs across various disciplines by Andhra University’s South Campus Placement Office. The director VR Reddy, said “This initiative is a testament to Andhra University’s commitment to providing its students with a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom. We are confident that the part-time job opportunities and additional training programs will significantly enhance our students’ employability and prepare them for success in their chosen careers.”
“Andhra University is providing part-time opportunities in diverse sectors like digital marketing, research, analytics, consulting, and leadership roles, offering flexibility with up to 28 hours per week. Discussions are underway for monthly salaries ranging from Rs. 6,000 to 10,000, allowing students to cover expenses and gain work experience,” informed VR Reddy.
Stating further Reddy stated, the university’s placement cell isn’t just about part-time jobs. It actively prepares students for government jobs with modules covering Arithmetic, Reasoning, and Analytics, enhancing their competitive exam readiness.
For students aspiring to pursue higher studies abroad, the placement cell provides essential training for entrance exams. To address challenges faced by students in dealing with consultancies, the university facilitates spot admissions under the guidance of college representatives. Over 150 students have already secured spot admissions in various universities across more than 20 countries.
