The BJP will stage a massive dharna in front of the clock-tower on Monday demanding allotment of the 2 BHK houses to the homeless poor.
Disclosing this to media at the BJP office here on Sunday, party district president Kankanala Sridhar Reddy and state secretary Madagani Srinivas Goud appealed to the people and the BJP rank and file to make the protest programme a grand success by taking part in the event in large numbers.
They alleged that the state government cheated the public by diverting the funds, given by the Centre for the construction of two-lakh 2 BHK houses for the homeless poor, to other purposes and duped the people.
The BRS built party offices in all districts of the state, but failed to build homes for the homeless poor, they said.
BJP state executive body member K Sridevi Reddy, leaders Dr Nagam Varshit Reddy, A Siddhu, P Lingaswamy and others were present.
