Two youths, both fans of film hero Surya, were electrocuted when they came in contact with a high tension electric wire when they were fastening flexi banners on the occasion of Surya’s birthday. The incident took place at Yakkala Vari Palem village in Narasaraopet mandal on the night of Saturday.
Narasaraopet rural CI told the media that the deceased Nakka Venkatesh (20) and Poluri Sai (20) were ardent fans of film hero Surya. They, along with other youths, were fastening flexi banners on the occasion of Surya’s birthday. The deceased came into contact with a high tension wire while fastening flexi banners. They died instantaneously. The deceased were studying graduation at a private college in Narasaraopet. The police shifted the bogies to the GGN in Narasaraopet and registered a case.
