Two persons were killed and one person was injured when a speeding lorry collided with an auto-rickshaw at Daratippa village in Mogalturu mandal on NH 216 in the wee hours on Tuesday.
Police said that the chicken feed-laden auto rickshaw was going to Repalle. A speeding lorry hit the auto rickshaw killing Yellamelli Ravi Kumar (30) and Polimati Srinu (40). The injured person Veerababu was shifted to the GGH in Eluru.
SI Veerababu registered a case and shifted the bogies to the GGH here for postmortem.
