‘2024 polls will be Naidu’s last’

Minister for Women and Child Welfare KV Ushasree Charan has alleged that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena supremo Pawan Kalyan are levelling false charges against the Jagan Mohan Reddy government. The Minister predicted that the next elections will be the last elections for Chandrababu.

Speaking to the media persons on Friday, the Minister said that people have witnessed how much importance Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given to CM Jagan Mohan Reddy during the Visakhapatnam visit.

The Minister said that CM Jagan, who saw the hardship of the Dwacra sisters during his long walkathon, promised to pay all their debts by the 2019 elections and fulfil the promise by paying amounts in four installments. He said that about Rs 12,750 crore have been given to 76 lakh elder sisters and younger sisters in 7.97 lakh Dwacra groups in the State.

She said that CM Jagan is giving priority to women under which 31 lakh houses were given to them and 21 lakh houses will be constructed in two phases. She said that Chandrababu Naidu and his adopted son Pawan are trying to run a smear campaign against the government in some way or the other.

She recalled that the Jana Sena leaders who went to Jagananna colonies were chased by the beneficiaries everywhere objecting to the false propaganda against the housing scheme. Minister Ushasree Charan said that all the people of the state have a lot of faith in the CM’s rule which is why nearly 3 lakh people came to the Prime Minister’s meet that day and this made Chandrababu jealous. She further said that unable to digest the good name of the Jagan government hence Naidu told raw lies during the Kurnool district tour.

She refuted claims of Naidu of establishing Dwacra groups as Dwacra groups were formed in 1982 in the country and the Telugu Desam Party had not come into power at that time. She alleged that people are also surprised at Chandrababu telling lies despite having 40 years of political career and 14 years as CM. She recalled that Chandrababu promised to waive the loans of Dwacra women in the 2014 elections, but he did not keep his promise after assuming power and cheated the women.

The Minister said that Chandrababu Naidu has no political future, hence begging the public to give him a win in the next elections. She stated that people are protesting against Naidu in the ongoing Rayalaseema tour due to his decision to the entire capital to remain in Amaravati and neglecting Rayalaseema’s development. She further stated that there is no cure for the jealousy and heartburn Naidu formed due to the endless popularity of CM Jagan and Naidu went into frustration.
