22 Hyd students score above 99 per cent

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Joint Entrance Examination main session-1 at around 574 centres in 287 cities including 17 cities outside India.
There are no girls among the top 20 who scored 100 percentile. The female topper is Meesala Pranthi Sreeja who scored 99.997259.

There were 46,465 applicants and the examination was conducted via a Computer Based Test (CBT) in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu).

Hyderabad’s Resonance Junior College which has an integrated course had 22 students scoring above 99 percentile in the exam. They are K. Roshan, M. Nihal Raj, Y. Akshay, V. Sai Akhil, CH Sai Shashank, Aarav Jayawal, E. Karthik, Rohit Singh, Mohammed Mojahid, Anirudh Arrepu, MD Ayaan Khan, S. Sree Vardhan, B. Lahari, Ashish Kumar, Aditya Kumar, Harsh Kumar, and B. Roopesh.

Purnachandra Rao from Resonance said the Hyderabad resident students are interested in joining IIT Mumbai. They studied every subject for three hours.Four students across India secured 100 per cent in Maths and Physics, 225 students secured 99 per cent and 2,300 students 90 per cent and above marks.

In the Telugu states, 22 students secured 99 per cent and above, 185 students 95 per cent and above, 435 students 90 per cent and above and 1,072 students qualified for JEE advanced as per 2022 cut-off, that is 65 per cent of the total students who wrote the exam qualified in the first attempt itself.
