BRS working president IT Minister KT Rama Rao’s statement that three Telangana Congress leaders have entered into an agreement for the Chief Minister’s post has been creating interest among Congress leaders and they are trying to find who the three leaders are.

In a chit-chat with journos at the Pragathi Bhavan on Friday, KTR said that the three leaders entered into the agreement in the presence of a media house owner. The agreement is that the three leaders will hold the Chief Minister post for one-and-a-half years each and a toss will be done for the last six months.

The Congress leaders are in shock after coming to know about KTR’s statement. Many leaders are now busy trying to find these three people. However, one Congress leader, on condition of anonymity, said that KTR made this statement only to confuse and demoralise Congress cadres as the Congress tradition is for its high command to decide the Chief Minister, unlike the BRS.

When contacted by ‘The Pioneer,’ the TPCC’s official spokesperson, Boreddy Ayodya Reddy said, “KTR has accepted that the Congress will win through his statement. KTR is making such comments due to his fear of defeat. The BRS now has clarity about its defeat. How many Congress leaders will become Chief Minister is a different thing but KTR has accepted the defeat of the BRS.”

Before the last Assembly elections, many Congress leaders said that they would become the Chief Minister, but the Congress won only 19 Assembly seats. However, this time the Congress is confident of winning the elections and the Congress is going to form the government on December 9, that is the birthday of former AICC president Sonia Gandhi.
