As many as 30 students of Navodaya Vidyalaya located at Lakshmipuram village in Pedavegi mandal in Denduluru constituency fell ill after having food.
According to official sources, 193 students are studying 8th and 9th standards and Intermediate at the institution. They had lunch in the hostel in which they consumed biryani. Sometime later, 40 of them developed vomiting and fever.
A medical camp was set up especially to treat them on the education institute campus. Some of the students belong to Kerala and Karnataka states. Two of the students were admitted to the GGH here.
