During a public meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister highlighted that over 30,000 development projects had been initiated at a cost of Rs 4,500 crore across the state. He stressed that for effective implementation of Panchayat Raj and rural development projects, ten departments need to collaborate efficiently.
He emphasized the need for the funds provided under the MGNREGA scheme to be utilized effectively to ensure work opportunities for all eligible individuals, noting that Andhra Pradesh is set to receive over Rs 10,000 under MGNREGA. He also acknowledged the full cooperation extended by the Narendra Modi-led central government for the development of Andhra Pradesh.
“The government aims to create 25.50 crore workdays for 8 lakh families under MGNREGA. Plans include the construction of 3,000 km of CC roads, 500 km of BT roads, compound walls for 120 primary schools, and rooftops for government offices,” Pawan Kalyan stated.
