4.44 lakh certificates issued during ‘Jagananna Suraksha’

West Godavari District Collector P Prashanthi has said that 4,44,787 certificates have been issued during the ‘Jagananna Suraksha’ programmes in the district so far.

In a statement here on Sunday, she said that 4,52,675 applications were received from the people in the district from July 1 to date out of which 4,44,787 applications were accepted and required certificates were issued to the applicants. However 499 applications were rejected due to lack of proper evidence. She further said that 7,389 applications, received from the people, were under scrutiny by the authorities.

Collector Prashanthi said that 1,66,031 Integrated Certificates, 1,62,364 Income Verification Certificates, 5,168 Mobile Number Updation to Aadhaar, 325 Family Member Certificates, 1,924 for new ration cards, 1,924 for spitting of rice cards and 204 mutations were issued in the Jagananna Suraksha camps held in the district from July 1 to 22.

She informed that 93 marriage verification certificates, 5,270 CCR cards, 297 birth certificates and 377 death certificates were also issued during the Jagananna Suraksha camps. The Collector said that after conducting verification by the volunteers the relevant documents are issued to the people.
