4 Coronavirus cases reported in Kakinada dist

As many as four Covid-19 cases have been detected in Kakinada district.
DMHO Narasimha Naik told the media that four Covid-19 cases were reported in the district. He said that a woman was diagnosed positive for Covid-19 in Peddapuram mandal, a PG student, a woman belonging to Pasarlapudi Lanka and a person in Ramachandrapuram were also diagnosed positive for Covid-19.
The DMHO made it clear that it is yet to be diagnosed to confirm whether Covid-19 ases are Variant JN.1. He said that over 300 coronavirus tests were conducted of which only four were diagnosed positive.
However, according to reliable sources, 31 more people were also diagnosed positive for Covid-19. The officials have alerted the official machinery on the outbreak of Coronavirus once again in the district. The health officials were directed to set up special wards in the GGH to treat the infected people if needed.
