Police have arrested a four-member inter-district gang of burglars and recovered stolen property worth Rs 70 lakh, including gold jewellery, silver ornaments, and cash.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Pratap Shiva Kishore informed the media that the gang was involved in multiple housebreaking and burglary cases across Ganapavaram, Bhimadole, Undi, and Akividu police station limits.
The arrested individuals have been identified as K. Manikantha Sai Srinivas, Yarlapati Mouni Sanny, Pedda Hema Kumar, and Peddireddy Ratna Sekhar. The police recovered gold jewellery weighing over 700 grams, silver ornaments weighing 7 kg, and Rs 63,000 in cash from the accused. SP Kishore commended the efforts of Nidamarru Inspector M. Subhash, Eluru Three Town Inspector V Koteswara Rao, and Bhimadole Sub-Inspectors Sudhakar, Manikumar, Suryabhagavan, Veera Prasad, and Rambabu for apprehending the gang and recovering the stolen property.
