5 lakh houses to be handed over to beneficiaries by Ugadi

Ajay Jain, Special Chief Secretary, Housing, has directed everyone to strive to complete the house construction under the ‘Navaratnalu Pedalaku Illu’ houses scheme this year.

Speaking to the Housing department officials on Monday, the Housing Special CS said that the year 2023 is very important for the housing department as five lakh houses should be completed by Ugadi. He further ordered the construction of houses started in the first phase in accordance with the aspirations of the chief minister should be completed briskly.

Ajay Jain stated that in the year 2022, with the collective efforts of all the employees, more than 2.10 lakh houses have been completed and another five lakh houses are under various stages of construction. He ordered that necessary funds for the constructions are available, the beneficiaries should be made aware and efforts should be made to complete the constructions as soon as possible. He said that the Chief Minister has reviewed the construction of houses, by Ugadi five lakh houses should be completed, and order to hand over the house keys to the beneficiaries.

Special Secretary Housing Diwan Maiden appealed to all the employees to work hard to achieve the goals of the government.

MD Housing Lakshisha said that the housing scheme being implemented in the state is very ambitious for the government and appealed to the officials and employees to complete the construction on time.
