At least six people were killed following an accident on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway in Ghaziabad on Tuesday.
According to the details, the accident was a result of a collision between a bus and a car.
An eight-year-old child, who was injured in the accident, was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The driver of the bus was later arrested.
The bodies of the deceased were sent for postmortem. Commenting on the accident, RK Kushwaha, ADCP (traffic) said, “Six people died on the spot, while two are critically injured.”
“The bus driver was coming from the wrong direction after getting CNG from Ghazipur in Delhi. The TUV was coming from Meerut’s direction and was on its way to Gurugram. It was the fault of the driver. He was coming from the wrong direction all the way from Delhi.”
Further, the ADCP said the driver of the bus had been arrested.
