The Indian Dental Association (IDA) head office won eight national awards at the 75th Indian Dental Conference. IDA values its local branches as its backbone, supporting its initiatives and running independent programmes to promote oral health. These awards recognise excellence, encouraging branches and members to enhance IDA’s visibility and improve access to dental care.
The awards were presented at a ceremony following the annual general meeting at the Chennai Trade Centre. Dr M Raveendranath, President of IDA head office, and Dr Ashok Dhoble, Secretary of IDA head office, presented the awards to Dr S Niranjan Reddy, Dr Aditya Sandeep and Dr S Anuraga from the IDA Deccan branch.

Best Local Branch President: Dr K V Ramana Reddy. Best Local Branch Secretary: Dr Ala Srikanth. Scientific Activity: Dr Keki Mistry Trophy. Best Council of Dental Health Activity: IDA Runners-Up Trophy. Student Activity: Dr Ramakanth Venson Award. School Dental Health: Dr Achyut Deodhar Trophy. 3rd Best Young Member: Dr S Anuraga (Dr Ratan H Doctor Award).
