96 bank staffers donate blood

As many as 96 units of blood were collected during the blood donation camp on Saturday. On the occasion of the 117th Foundation Day of Canara Bank, the Vijayawada Regional Office of the Canara Bank conducted a Blood Donation Camp.

The camp was inaugurated by Kalyani, Regional Manager, Vijayawada Circle. Ninety-six employees of the bank donated blood on the occasion through Red Cross blood bank Vijayawada. BVS Kumar, State Co-ordinator, Red Cross Blood Banks and Projects, Andhra Pradesh appreciated their kind gesture and presented a memento.
