In line with the TDP’s manifesto, the CM announced an increase in the honorarium for Imams and Muezzins to `10,000 and `5,000, respectively. The recent State Budget saw a `1,300 crore increase in allocations for Muslim minorities, totalling `5,434 crore. “My mission is to lift the underprivileged out of poverty, ensuring that no one goes hungry or lacks access to basic needs like education and healthcare,” he said.
