The three-language formula was introduced by the Congress, Telangana BJP president G. Kishan Reddy said.
Participating in a TV channel programme on Saturday, Kishan said that Kasturi Rangarajan from Tamil Nadu led the way in introducing the new education policy.
“It was as per his instructions that the Centre introduced the New Education Policy in 2022. After all these years, Stalin suddenly remembered the New Education Policy. Whenever elections near, Stalin remembers problems that did not exist. Stalin has opened the door to new dramas to divert the attention of the people of Tamil Nadu from his corruption and the liquor scam,” he said.
Kishan said that Prime Minister Modi always starts his speech in the language of the state he visits.
“The PM respects all regional languages. The New Education Policy says that up to high school, one should study in the mother tongue. If someone from Tamil Nadu is selected for All India Services and has to work in Uttar Pradesh, how will they work? If you learn Hindi, it will be easier to work in the North. All the children of DMK leaders in Tamil Nadu
are studying in Delhi and the North. Hindi is taught in educational institutions run by DMK leaders. Hindi is taught in private educational institutions following the CBSE curriculum in Tamil Nadu,” he said.
Kishan said that if elections are held in Telangana and Karnataka now, the BJP will come to power.
“The BJP won two seats in the recent MLC elections in Telangana. Telangana gets 60% of its income from Hyderabad. How will it be if we ask how they can spend the money in Adilabad instead of in Hyderabad? The same principle applies in the country too,” he said.
“If the BJP had not come to power, the abrogation of Article 370 would not have been possible. The construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple would not have been possible. ISI’s terror attacks would have continued,” Kishan said.
