Acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi, known for his versatility in Tamil and Hindi cinema, delivers another powerful performance in Viduthalai Part 2. Directed by Vetrimaaran, the sequel continues its gripping narrative on justice, oppression and resistance. Now streaming in Hindi on ZEE5, the film brings its intense storytelling to a wider audience. Sethupathi believes that the Hindi-speaking audience will connect deeply with the film’s themes.
“The themes—oppression, justice and the fight for freedom—are universal,” he said. “However, every audience perceives a film differently based on their cultural and socio-political context. Viduthalai Part 2 offers a raw and immersive experience that I believe will strike a strong emotional chord with Hindi audiences.” Reflecting on the film’s challenges, Sethupathi shared, “Every scene in a Vetrimaaran film is a challenge. The physical demands, especially shooting in harsh terrains, made this project even more intense.”
