Bommarillu Bhaskar is set to make a return with Jack, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya. Produced by BVSN Prasad, the film is slated for release on April 10.
“I have known BVSN Prasad garu since my early days, and now his son Baapi is a close friend. When I shared the story of Jack with him, he immediately arranged a meeting with Siddu,” Bhaskar recalls.
The project took off in just one day. “After DJ Tillu and Tillu Square, this is a very different film for Siddu and for me too. While my signature emotions are there, the film has some action elements and dialogues tailored to Siddu’s style,” he explains.
Speaking about the synergy between him and Siddu, Bhaskar says, “The core idea was mine, but Siddu contributed his inputs as well.”
The trailer has been entertaining audiences, blending Siddu’s signature style with Bhaskar’s emotional storytelling. “This is my first attempt at a different genre, but I won’t disappoint the family audience that enjoyed my previous films,” assures the director.
Praising Siddu’s talent, he shares, “Working with him is easy. Just trust him, give him the scene, and the result is magic on the monitor.”
Bhaskar also highlights Vaishnavi Chaitanya’s exceptional performance. “I told her there would be no dialogues in certain scenes, and she had to convey everything through her eyes. She did it beautifully. She has a very promising future,” he praises.
When asked if Jack marks his comeback, Bhaskar firmly states, “I don’t like the word comeback. I take my time to write my stories. I love writing.”
