Key decisions were taken during the 46th meeting of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), held at the residence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Undavalli on Saturday.
The Authority authorised the CRDA Commissioner to mobilise the remaining required funds for the construction of the Amaravati capital through various financial institutions.
It also approved the tenders for the construction of the Assembly and High Court buildings, granting permission to issue Letters of Acceptance (LoAs) to the L1 companies identified for these projects.
The proposed Assembly building will feature a basement, ground floor, three upper floors, viewing galleries, and panoramic decks. With a built-up area of 1.12 million square feet, the structure is planned to rise to a height of 250 metres. The Authority has cleared the issuance of the LoA to the L1 bidder for the Assembly construction.
Similarly, the High Court building will comprise a basement, ground floor, and seven additional floors, covering a built-up area of 2.03 million square feet and standing at 55 metres tall.
The Authority has also approved the issuance of the LoA to the L1 firm selected for the High Court project.
