Veteran actor Chiranjeevi took to social media to share an update on the recovery of his young nephew, Mark Shankar, the eight-year-old son of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan. Mark had been injured in a fire accident at his school in Singapore, suffering burns on his hands and legs and developing breathing difficulties due to smoke inhalation.
In his emotional post, Chiranjeevi revealed that Mark had been discharged from the hospital and was now back home with his family. However, he emphasised that the child still requires time to fully recover. Expressing his gratitude, Chiranjeevi shared that the family believed the boy’s survival was nothing short of divine intervention, especially with the auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti approaching.
The actor also highlighted the family’s faith in their deity, Anjaneya Swamy, hoping for a speedy recovery for Mark. “With the blessings of our family deity, Anjaneya Swamy, we believe that Mark will soon return to complete health,” he wrote.
Chiranjeevi further appealed to the people of Ayya villages and surrounding areas to support the family with prayers for Mark’s swift recovery. His heartfelt message concluded with gratitude towards their well-wishers: “On behalf of me, younger brother Kalyan Babu and our family, we thank you all.”
