BRS dubs Meenakshi ‘super CM’ overseeing Revanth2

Must read

BRS Assembly Whip KP Vivekananda launched an attack on the Congress Government and the TPCC, accusing them of orchestrating a massive land scam involving the sale and mortgage of prime government lands worth Rs 10,000 crore and attempting to intimidate BRS leaders – particularly Working President KT Rama Rao – for exposing irregularities.
Vivekananda also directed flak at senior Congress leader Meenakshi Natarajan, dubbing her the “super CM”, and asked whether she was acting as a shadow overseer of Revanth Reddy’s decisions.
Addressing the media at the Telangana Bhavan, Vivekananda said that KTR had placed irrefutable evidence before the public, particularly in the Kanchegachhi Bowli land issue, leaving the ruling party red-faced.
“The government is neck-deep in thii. They are issuing contradictory statements to cover up the scam,” he said.
He also criticised TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, calling him a “dummy TPCC president” and ridiculing his threat to jail KTR. “Before making empty threats, Goud should first understand facts. If he has the guts, let him come for a public debate along with Revanth Reddy,” Vivekananda said.
He said that lands worth Rs 10,000 crore had been mortgaged by the Congress government, and the funds were diverted to a select group of contractors, while farmers continue to wait for their Rythu Bharosa dues. He also hinted at a larger collusion between the Congress and the BJP, claiming that a BJP MP linked to the issue would soon be named by the BRS. He contrasted Revanth’s alleged misuse of public lands with former CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s efforts to secure 17,000 acres for the Pharma City project.
“We will not let this be brushed under the carpet. Legal recourse is our next step,” he said, confirming that the BRS would approach the courts and also demanded that the state government release a white paper on the matter. He added that KTR had already written to investigative agencies seeking a probe and urged Mahesh Goud to do the same if he truly had nothing to hide.
The press conference was also attended by BRS leaders Manna Govardhan Reddy, K. Kishore Goud, and Tungabalu, and it concluded with a warning from Vivekananda that KTR’s revelations were just the beginning. “What you’ve seen is just the trailer. The full picture is yet to come.”
