Actress Samantha turned producer with the film Subham. The pre-release event was held in Visakhapatnam on Sunday night at RK Beach. The actress spoke about the film and how she saw real affection and love when she first came to Vizag.
“After my first film Yeh Maya Chesave, I didn’t know whether I was successful, if people recognised me, or whether the film was a hit or not. But later, I came to Vizag for a mall opening and from the airport to the event, I saw the real love and affection given to me by the people,” said Samantha at the event.
The actress shared that she has previously attended film events in Vizag. “I attended Majili, Oh Baby and Rangasthalam functions here, and all those films became blockbusters. I’m sure that my upcoming film Subham will also be a blockbuster,” she said.
“Every time I come to Vizag, the film turns out to be a blockbuster. Seeing the love from fans here made me understand what real affection feels like. When I saw our director Praveen’s energy, I was completely moved. As a producer, I began this project with a fresh perspective,” she added.
The actress mentioned that her desire to give opportunities to new talent led her to produce films. “You all know that I love cinema. I started the Tra La La production banner with the goal of telling unique stories with new people and entertaining audiences. That’s my vision. Please watch our film with your family on May 9. You’ll leave the theatre with a happy smile,” said Samantha. Praveen Kandregula is the director of Subham.
