Actor Vishwak Sen is seeking a comeback after his recent films failed to make a mark. His last film Laila, where he portrayed a woman, received heavy criticism. Known for his directorial ventures Falaknuma Das and Das Ka Damki, Vishwak has now returned to directing.
On Sunday, his new film was officially launched, marking his third directorial project, titled CULT. The launch event saw the presence of several Tollywood celebrities. The film is produced by Karate Raju and Sandeep Kakarala.
Vishwak Sen is not only directing the film but also writing the story himself, making it a deeply personal and creatively rich endeavor. CULT is touted to be a new-age party thriller inspired by real events and promises a first-of-its-kind cinematic experience.
The actor-director is also introducing 40 newcomers through this movie. Acclaimed filmmaker Tharun Bhascker is penning the dialogues, and renowned composer Ravi Basrur of KGF and Kantara fame is scoring the music. The film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Japanese, Spanish, and English.
