The forthcoming Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Mahanadu, scheduled to be held in Pabbavaram, Kadapa from 27 to 29 May, will be a historic event, said district in-charge Minister S Savitha. Addressing a preparatory meeting on Sunday, the Minister expressed pride in overseeing the arrangements and stated that this Mahanadu would be remembered as one of the most significant in the party’s history.

Minister Savitha said elaborate arrangements have been made for the massive gathering of TDP leaders and cadre from across the state. With an estimated attendance of over five lakh people, including three lakh from the Rayalaseema region alone, the event is expected to set a new benchmark.

She thanked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for selecting Kadapa as the venue and noted that the large-scale event is being meticulously planned with seamless coordination.

To ensure smooth conduct, 13 organising committees have been constituted, and a detailed route map has been prepared to prevent traffic congestion. Region-wise accommodation and dining arrangements have been finalised, with Minister Ram Prasad Reddy and MLC Rambhupal Reddy supervising logistics for cadres from Chittoor, Annamayya, Anantapur, and Sri Sathya Sai districts. Leaders from other regions will also be provided with necessary facilities during the three-day event.

Savitha commended the commitment and unity of the Kadapa TDP cadre in executing the preparations and urged leaders from other districts to exceed their mobilisation targets. She asserted that the TDP is the only party capable of bringing genuine development to Rayalaseema, as demonstrated by the region’s progress under previous TDP governments.

Minister Savitha, along with TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao, senior ministers, MLAs and former ministers, inspected the Mahanadu site. She indicated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is likely to announce new developmental schemes for Rayalaseema during the event, making this Mahanadu a potential turning point for the region’s future.
