Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashri Borse are playing the lead roles in the film titled Andhra King Taluka. On the occasion of Ram’s birthday a few days ago, the makers released the title and a glimpse from the film. Kannada star Upendra is playing an important role as a Superstar in this project. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, while P. Mahesh Babu of Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty fame is directing it.
However, the glimpse and title didn’t receive a very positive response, especially for the title, according to sources. “When you are putting a title like ‘Andhra King,’ one should expect a Tollywood actor. But the makers roped in a Kannada actor for it, so they got a negative response for the title,” said a source.
Ram Pothineni is playing a fan of Upendra, who plays the character Superstar Surya Kumar in the film.
Upendra has now joined the shoot and is playing a key role. Earlier, the makers completed some important scenes during a schedule in Rajahmundry, where much of the film is set. With Upendra joining the unit, they are currently shooting some crucial scenes featuring Ram, Upendra, and others.
