The BJP’s Rajya Sabha Member, Dr K. Laxman, said that BRS MLC Kavitha and her brother KT Rama Rao resemble Andhra Pradesh’s YS Sharmila and her brother YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Addressing the media on Sunday, Laxman said that differences have cropped up among the family members of former Chief Ministers, the late YS Rajashekhar Reddy, and K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
He said that sisters were the arrows released by brothers, and the same sisters targeted their brothers when differences emerged in the distribution of assets and posts.
Laxman said that BRS MLC Kavitha’s conspiracies will not work in Telangana and asked Kavitha to explain how her letter came out. “Is Kavitha opposing KTR’s leadership in the BRS?” he asked.
He wondered why Kavitha never spoke about social justice when the BRS was in power for 10 years.
“The Congress has been using pawns like Kavitha, who has started speaking about social justice now, only due to the fear that the BJP will come to power in the next Assembly elections. The Congress used Sharmila in Andhra Pradesh like this. Kavitha is fighting for survival. However, people won’t accept leaders like Kavitha who are involved in illicit liquor cases. Kavitha did not get public sympathy in the last elections either,” Laxman said.
