Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar commented that the film ‘Char Patta,’ made under the banner of Kalvakuntla Arts and directed by the Congress, is being led by Kalvakuntla Kavitha in the main role.

He said that this kind of drama, which is of no use to the people, will not achieve anything.
He also criticised the Congress for miserably failing to implement the six guarantees it had promised to the public and accused it of using such distractions to divert public attention, as the people are extremely angry with the party’s failure.

Union Minister Sanjay launched many development projects on Saturday at the Municipal Corporation office in Karimnagar, at Madhuranagar in the Gangadhara mandal of Choppadandi, and at Venkatraopalle in Boinipalli mandal.

He spoke to the media along with Choppadandi MLA Medipalli Satyam, former MLA Bodige Shobha, and former Karimnagar Mayor Sunil Rao. “During a fire in the Vaddera Colony of Prashanthanagar in Karimnagar, 13 huts were destroyed and another 12 were partially damaged. At that time, along with the Union Minister, the then Mayor, Sunil Rao, visited the victims, arranged temporary shelters, and provided essentials. Today, 13 drilling machines were purchased using MPLAD funds and distributed to the victims,” Sanjay said.

In Gangadhara mandal, development projects were undertaken in 23 villages under the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme at a cost of ?2.63 crore. CC roads and underground drainage works, costing ?30 lakh, were inaugurated in the presence of local MLA Medipalli Satyam, he said.

Similarly, in Venkatraopalle of Boinipalli mandal in Rajanna Sircilla district, foundation stone was laid for a bridge built under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana at a cost of ?2.33 crore, Sanjay added.

In Choppadandi, CC roads, drainage, and other development projects were undertaken in 23 villages using ?2.64 crore from employment guarantee scheme funds.

“We are trying to develop this constituency. We have started constructing roads and laying drainage pipes at a cost of ?30 lakh. In future, we will develop this region using CRIF (Central Road Infrastructure Fund) resources, he said.
