Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next 48 hours, and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema over the next 24 hours, according to the Meteorological Centre.
In its daily weather bulletin issued on Sunday, the Met Centre also stated that gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30 to 50 kmph are likely at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema over the next four days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected at one or two locations in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema over the next seven days. Rainfall was reported at one or two places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, while dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema during the past 24 hours, the report added.
