Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has lauded the book Yuvagalam Padayatra, which chronicles the impactful padayatra (foot march) undertaken by TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh that played a pivotal role in reshaping Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape.

During the State Cabinet meeting held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, Lokesh presented copies of the book to Pawan Kalyan and other ministers. The book captures the experiences and challenges faced during the Yuvagalam Padayatra, which served as a mass awakening against the “oppressive and autocratic rule” of the previous YSRCP government led by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan said the Yuvagalam Padayatra was instrumental in enlightening people about the tyrannical governance of the previous regime. He commended Lokesh for bringing those experiences to life through the book and stressed that the struggles endured during that era remain fresh in public memory, even a year after the fall of the previous government.

Lokesh also shared key moments and reflections from the padayatra with Pawan Kalyan.
