Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko was injured, while his father, CP Chacko, died early Friday morning in a road accident in Tamil Nadu’s Dharmapuri district. The actor was in the news a few months back related to a drug case. He acted in many Malayalam films and also made his debut in Telugu with the film Dasara. Post that, Shine acted in a few other Telugu films. The accident occurred near Parayur, close to Palacode, when the car carrying the actor’s family reportedly collided with a truck on the highway. Shine Chacko’s father, CP Chacko, succumbed to his injuries on the spot, according to the police. Shine Chacko, his mother and another person who were also travelling with the family were seriously injured and are currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
According to some media reports, Shine Tom Chacko, along with his mother, brother and the driver, sustained injuries in the collision. All were promptly taken to the government hospital in Palakottai for medical treatment.
Shine Tom Chacko reportedly suffered a fracture. The Malayalam actor is known in Telugu for films like Dasara, Daaku Maharaaj and Rangabali.
