Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya is a replica of the word ‘Gentleman.’
Attending in Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya’s autobiography ‘Prajala Kathe Naa Atma Katha’ release function at the Shilpa Kala Vedika on Sunday, Chandrababu remembered that he was affectionately called Dattanna.
Declaring that he still remembers the old days 40 years ago, he said that it is not easy for a commoner to come up in national politics.
He said that Dattatreya’s name means Hinduism and added that Dattatreya comes to mind whenever he says Alai Balai. He also praised Dattatreya for his interest in people and his secular credentials.
Chandrababu said that Dattatreya took part in many public movements and faced several problems. However, Dattatreya has no enemies and his political life is a role model for others, he added.
He said that Dattatreya used to write letters to governments and Chief Ministers on public issues and also strived for the development of Hyderabad.
