With just a few days to go for the release of Pawan Kalyan starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu, producer AM Rathnam opened up about the film and his future plans. There are reports that the film will have paid premieres.
“We’re planning to organize paid premieres for our film. Once we receive the necessary permissions, we’re hoping to announce 9.00 PM shows on July 23 night,” said AM Rathnam.
He also addressed the widespread belief that the film has taken unusually long to complete, offering clarity on the matter. “The film didn’t take too many shoot days. It’s just that the time period and the scale of the story required more effort. That’s what took time — not the number of shooting days,” he clarified.

There are also reports suggesting the story is related to Pandaga Sai Anna from Telangana, but the producer denied them. “This is not the story of any particular historical figure. Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a completely imagined tale set against the backdrop of the 17th century. It’s a creative, historical fiction — not a biopic,” said the producer.
The passion in Rathnam’s voice was unmistakable as he spoke about what the audience can expect from the film. “After watching this movie, I’m confident that everyone will say one thing: ‘Rathnam, you’ve made a fine film — well done!’ That’s the kind of impact we believe this film will have,” he said.
Rathnam’s son Jyothi Krishna directed the film, while AM Rathnam is the presenter, and his brother A Dayakar Rao has turned producer. MM Keeravani composed the music, while Nidhhi Agerwal plays the female lead. The film is set to hit the screens on July 24.
