Minister for Housing Jogi Ramesh conducted the government’s prestigious ‘Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam’ at Kappaladoddi village of Guduru mandal in Krishna district on Tuesday. He visited houses and distributed booklets to people, explaining the welfare schemes.
He interacted with the people and enquired about the local problems. People urged the minister to lay electrical poles on the Rythu Bharosa Kendram Street and construct drainage in several areas. A few requested the minister to sanction loans for constructing houses.
Speaking on the occasion, Jogi Ramesh said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was providing assets worth Rs.10 lakh as a gift to poor people by registering them in the One Time Settlement scheme. “The State government is implementing various welfare schemes for the benefit of poor people and so the people have decided to vote for YSRCP in the next elections,” he said.
Later, he visited the Anganwadi Centre and chatted with the children. He asked them whether they knew about Jagan Mamayya and who was Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Guduru MPP S Madhusudhana Rao, Sarpanch Madhavi, MPTC member Tejovathi, MPDO D Subba Rao, Housing DEE A Srinivasa Rao and others were present.
