Minister for Revenue Dharmana Prasad Rao has made a sensational statement that he will demand statehood for the North Andhra districts if the TDP wins the next elections.
The Minister inaugurated the newly constructed CC road at Sri Potti Sriramulu municipal market here on Tuesday. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Minister said “If the TDP wins the next election and Chandrababu Naidu makes Amaravati the sole capital city of AP, I will demand a separate state for North Andhra districts with Visakhapatnam as the capital city.” The minister dared Chandrababu Naidu for an open debate on the development which had been made during the YSRCP regime.
