Reiterating that he will ensure that anti-YSRCP votes are not divided, Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan has said that he had discussed various issues, including the Polavaram project and halting of industrial development, with Chandrababu Naidu in the recent meeting.
Addressing the ‘Yuvasakthi’ meeting at Ranasthalam here on Thursday, Pawan Kalyan said that he emphasised the need for preventing a split of anti-YSRCP votes to Chandrababu Naidu.
“Naidu and I discussed for 20 minutes the ineptness of Irrigation Minister Ambati Rambabu on the construction of the Polavaram project, for 10 minutes the ineffectiveness of IT Minister Gudiwada Amaranth and for 38 minutes the deteriorated law and order situation in the State,” he disclosed. At the same time, Pawan Kalyan said that he did not discuss seat sharing with Naidu. “We should go to the elections with a strategy and we should not go alone when the political situation is conducive. If I have confidence in winning the election alone, I will not have an alliance with any party,” the Jana Sena chief said. Pawan Kalyan dismissed comments made by YSRCP leaders during his meeting with Naidu.
“If the YSRCP had given good governance, I would have not raised my voice against the government,” he said. Pawan Kalyan announced that he would take out a yatra on his ‘Varahi’ vehicle and dared to see who could stop it.
Referring to the YSRCP leader’s comments that he criticised the TDP earlier but now he is trying to align with the same party, Pawan Kalyan said that sometimes the political parties should compromise.
Pawan Kalyan promised to check illegal mining in the North AP region, ensure the establishment of industries, make financial capital and check the migration of labour from the North AP region.
