Leaders given targets to bring people

In a bid to ensure make the BRS meeting in Khammam is a success, party leaders are setting targets for bringing people. From the erstwhile Khammam district itself, the BRS has set a target of three lakh people. From Mahbubabad, arrangements are being made to bring 1.20 lakh people. The remaining people will be brought from Warangal and Nalgonda districts.

The BRS AP unit has been given the responsibility to bring 50,000 people to Khammam.
In 2001, when the TRS was formed, about 250,000 people attended the Simha Gharjana held at the SRR College grounds in Karimnagar. Simha Gharjana was the first big meeting of the TRS to spearhead the movement for a Telangana state.

Unlike the BRS formation meeting, now leaders have to bring people from only a few districts. For Simha Gharjana, people from all 10 Telangana districts, especially the northern districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Warangal, Khammam and Karimnagar, flooded the town.

It may be mentioned here that during Simha Gharjana, KCR lambasted Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the BJP and Congress leaders from the region for failing to take up the struggle for a separate state despite claims of espousing the cause.

Now Chief Minister KCR will criticise the BJP and Congress leaders for failing the farmers of the country and for the need for an alternative agenda for the nation.
