Atmiya Sammelanas help BRS leadership to assess cadres

Must read

Ahead of the Assembly elections, the ‘Atmiya Sammelanas’ organised by BRS leaders across the state are helping the party leadership in another way.

The main purpose of this programme is to tell the public about the good deeds done by the state government headed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao all these years. Another objective is to keep in touch with the people.

Atmiya Sammelanas help the BRS leadership to find out differences among party leaders. There are differences between Ministers and MLAs, MPs and MLAs and other leaders.

During Atmiya Sammelanas, BRS leaders clash with each other in public. The BRS had no strong opposition during the last two Assembly elections and could win easily. But this time the Congress and the BJP will give a tough fight to the BRS.

The anti-incumbency factor and differences among party leaders may affect the prospects of the BRS during the coming Assembly elections. Keeping this in view the BRS leadership concluded that by telling the people about the welfare and development programmes of the government it can reduce the negativity in the minds of the people regarding the government.

The differences among BRS leaders can also be eliminated to some extent by bringing them on one platform through Atmiya Sammelanas. But in some places, this programme was not held as the BRS leadership thought that disputes among party leaders may come out.

Some BRS leaders are leaving the party and some others even though loyal are sore as MLAs and Ministers are not giving them importance and are clashing with leaders. Party leaders think that this will help the leadership to know the minds of its cadres.

BRS activists think that their leadership will set right things and make all party workers join hands in the interests of the party after setting aside differences.

BRS leaders are fighting for supremacy in the party and the leadership will try to pacify them during Atmiya Sammelanas. That way the programme is helpful to the BRS leadership.
