Sanjay to skip secretariat inauguration, to enter it only after demolishing domes

Making it clear that he will not go to the inauguration of the new Secretariat, Telangana BJP President Bandi Sanjay Kumar said the reason is that it does not look like a Secretariat.

Sanjay said that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao constructed the new Secretariat with domes only to make AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi and his camp followers happy.

“I will not step into the Secretariat after the BJP comes to power, no matter who becomes the CM as the new Secretariat is not looking like a Secretariat and goes against Indian and Telangana cultures. I will enter the new Secretariat only after demolishing the domes and reconstructing it as per Telangana’s traditions,” Sanjay said.

He said that KCR destroyed the Nallapochamma Ammavari Temple on the Secretariat’s premises and allotted five guntas of land for a mosque there. Will they give two and a half guntas of land to a temple for Hindus who constitute 80 per cent of the population? The Telangana Hindu community should think about this. Will ‘Banchan’ survive under KCR’s rule? It doesn’t matter if I go to the new Secretariat or not? he said.

Sanjay, who left for Hyderabad after campaigning in the Chintamani constituency of Karnataka, was first welcomed by SC Morcha leaders in Anantapur. As soon as Sanjay entered Anantapur town from there, BJP activists led by BJP district president Sandireddy Srinivasulu exploded firecrackers and raised slogans supporting the BJP and Sanjay.

Later, Sanjay spoke to the media at the local R&B guest house. He said that the BJP will come back to power in Karnataka regardless of the false propaganda unleashed by the Congress. The Congress is not in a position to tell what it will do there as it is not in power in Delhi and in Karnataka. How can the Congress develop Karnataka, Sanjay asked.

He reiterated that the Congress is planning to use Karnataka as its ATM to fund its 2024 LS campaign. The party’s idea is that if it comes to power in Karnataka, the money collected from there can be used for poll campaigns all over the country.

“KCR is doing the same in Telangana. After KCR won in Telangana, he looted Telangana for his national party and is spending it to recruit activists all over the country,” Sanjay said.

Declaring that a saffron government will come to power in Karnataka once again, Sanjay said that the political climate is likely to become favourable to the BJP after the visit of Prime Minister Modi. The people of Karnataka do not give power to liars who denigrate Modi as a snake, he said.

Sanjay said that BJP is the only party that supports Dalits, tribals and BCs.

“We made a Dalit the President. A tribal woman was made President after that. There are 27 BCs and 12 SCs in the Modi Cabinet. The Modi government is working as per Ambedkar’s ideology and is committed to the development of Dalits, tribals and BCs,” he said.
