Making it clear that the Congress party’s next target is Telangana after the Karnataka elections, AICC General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said that Priyanka Gandhi will take the responsibility of uniting the leaders of the Congress in TS.
Addressing the press here on Sunday Jairam said that he was confident that the Congress will win 130 seats in the Karnataka Assembly elections.
He made it clear that there will be no need for the Congress to forge an alliance with any party after the elections as it will get a clear majority in Karnataka to form a government.
The senior leader said that the entire nation was angry with the “inefficient” government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the people of Karnataka have decided to remove the 40 per cent commission government of the BJP.
Priyanka Gandhi will come to Hyderabad at 3.30 pm on Monday. She will land at the Begumpet Airport in a special flight from Karnataka and will directly go to the LB Nagar Chowrastha at 4 pm and will place flowers at the statue of Telangana martyr Srikantha Chary.
Later, she will attend a rally that will reach Saroor Nagar Grounds and will participate in the Yuva Sangarshana Sabha. She will stay for 40 to 50 minutes at the public meeting and will address the meeting for 20 to 25 minutes.
She will leave the meeting venue for the Begumpet Airport and leave for New Delhi at 5.30 pm.
