Intermediate examination results published

Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy announced the Intermediate examination results at the Intermediate Board office on Tuesday.

The total number of students who appeared for the exams is 9,48,153, and out of this around 5.93 lakh passed. Girls top the results, with 68.68 per cent of first-year girls and 71.57 per cent of second-year girls passing.

Around 4,82,675 students appeared for the first-year exams and 2,97,741 passed. The pass percentage is 61.68 per cent. The number of boys who appeared for the exams is 2,41,673, of which 1,31,747 passed. The number of girls who appeared for the exams is 2,41,673. Of this, 1,65,994 passed.

In the second year, 4,65,478 students appeared for the exams and 2,95,550 passed, registering a pass percentage of 63.49.  The number of boys who appeared for the exams is 2,35,520 and of this, 1,30,952 passed. The number of girls who appeared is 2,29,958, and of this, 1,64,598 passed.

“We conducted the exams from March 15. The Intermediate exam is crucial for a student. In our state, 9,45,153 people appeared for the first and second-year exams. We conducted exams in 473 centres. Students who could not appear can appear for the supplementary exams beginning on June 4,” Sabitha Indra Reddy said.

The Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations will be held from June 4. Students can pay the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations fee from May 10 to 16. Principals can download the Students’ Online Memorandum of Marks (Short Memo) from their College login. Similarly, College Mark Registers (Tabulation Registers) can also be downloaded from Tuesday.

There is provision for recounting and supply of scanned copies-cum-re-verification of valued answer scripts. Candidates who wish to apply for recounting or re-verification-cum-scanned copy of valued answer scripts have to pay online an amount of Rs 100 per paper for recounting and Rs 600 per paper for scanned copy-cum-re-verification of answer book, through the BIE website http://tsbie.cgg.gov.in from May 10 to 16.

This online service will be stopped after the due date and no extension will be available. Under no circumstances will manual submission after the due date be entertained.
