State Planning Board Vice-Chairman Boinapally Vinod Kumar said that the State government has launched the “Dharani” portal to solve the pending Revenue records issues in the state for decades, but the Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy is talking without understanding about the portal.
Vinod Kumar said that it is not appropriate for Union Minister to criticise the Dharani system which solves various land records problems.
He stated that Dharani is making it easier to correct the Revenue records which have been in disarray for decades.
He said that till now 95 per cent of the Revenue records problems had been solved through Dharani and the rest of the records problems will be solved soon.
Vinod Kumar said that the decades-old problems in the Revenue records are coming to the attention of officials. Family feuds, land boundary disputes, previous purchase and sale issues, and technical module (T.M)-33 are only some issues for resolution by the Collectors, he said. The officials are also bringing them to the fore step by step.
He said that it is not appropriate for Kishan Reddy to fault the Dharani system which is being done online with complete transparency, and the government is ready to solve them if the exact problem is shown.
Vinod Kumar said that it is not right to fault the entire Dharani system by citing some issues as an excuse. Vinod Kumar said that since the implementation of the Dharani system, all the revenue records are running smoothly and since the implementation of the Dharani system, all the land purchase and sale records are being registered in the Dharani immediately.
Vinod Kumar explained that there are some problems only in the Revenue records of decades ago and the authorities are solving them step by step.
He recalled that the officials of the Union Agriculture and IT Ministries appreciated the successful implementation of the Dharani system in the State of Telangana, and the officials of the Union Ministries have also suggested that the Dharani system should be implemented in other states of the country as well.
